Dog Bite Prevention Presentation In-Person
Ages 5 and up.
Free program, but registration is required.
Diana Algarin is the president and founder of Bleu's K9 Rescue Inc. - a 501(c)3 non-profit dog rescue and educational organization. She is going into her 9th year of saving local homeless dogs.
Bleu's K9 Rescue is 100% foster and volunteer based throughout the Hudson Valley. Bleu's is dedicated to saving dogs of all breeds by placing them into loving, forever homes. Our Rescue Hub is located in Gardiner @ 127 Main Street.
Our dog bite presentation consists of bringing 2 trained dogs (Bleu & Kima) in to educate the children on the proper way to meet a dog, demoed by Bleu. Each child who wants to properly meet Bleu will have an opportunity to! We then educate the kids on what to do if they see a loose dog. Next we go over pet responsibility. Then finally we show what fun things they can do with their dogs at home with a little active demo by Kima.
