Jewelry Making Camp with Heather Kort In-Person

Registration required by August 20.
Payment required upon registration to reserve your spot. If payment is not received, you will be unregistered.

Cost: $150
Ages: 7-12 years old

Students ages 7-12 will explore a variety of jewelry making techniques such as beadmaking, wet felting, metal bending/manipulation and adding appropriate closures to their designs. We will use some unique materials like resin, paint and clay to create original jewelry pieces, and the beauty of camp is that we can leave our work to dry and cure overnight! Students should pack a healthy snack and bring a water bottle each day.

Heather has an AAS in Fashion Design from FIT, a Masters in Art Education, and is certified to teach art in NYS, grades K-12. She taught elementary and high school art for 8 years, and currently teaches Continuing Education art classes through the New Paltz Central School District. Heather enjoys making things, and also loves to help children make things!
