Grief Unveiled: The Myths and Misunderstandings of the Powerful Emotion of Grief with Michele Tomasicchio In-Person

Free. Registration required.

This workshop will give you insight into the myths & misunderstandings about grief and 3 keys to begin healing. Loss is part of our human existence. We experience losses throughout our lives - our favorite pet’s passing, friendships dissolving, loved ones passing suddenly, a divorce, a breakup. Grief isn’t talked about or taught about - what’s “normal” or how to process it. Not knowing how to help someone who’s grieving or healthy ways to process grief as the griever compounds the emotions, creates more heartache and confusion.

We’re taught how to take care of a cut or wound of the body but we’ve not been taught the skills that allow us to deal with loss directly or how to deal with a broken heart. This lecture will highlight the myths and misunderstandings of the powerful emotion of grief and briefly touches on the skills that help to heal from grief.

Michele Tomasicchio helps people heal the pain and unresolved emotions associated with grief and to live a freer, fuller expression of their life. She is a Certified Grief Specialist with The Grief Recovery Institute offering a proven, reliable system to resolve the emotions due to a loss.
